Traveling from Hemel to Orebos can be a pretty arduous task. The usual route is the famed TC rail line but that journey can take weeks, if it breaks down double that time. You’d probably get there in the end, but that trip can test the resolve of even the most disciplined mind.

The good news is that for the more intrepid, or more impatient traveller there is another way. In the furthest northeast corner of Hemel, skirting the edge of the noxious clouds of Mulgas there is a very VERY old road one might follow up into the mountains. And if one decided to follow this ancient pathway and one had the endurance for the 3000 or so stair climb then one might find oneself on a much shorter path to the great forests of Orebos.

It’s said that the journey can be made in as little as 4-5 days...just make sure to bring a warm coat and some well-worn walking boots...
